Passover Registration 2013

Penn State Hillel and The Presidential Leadership Academy are proud to present this year's Passover celebration on Monday, March 25th at 7:00pm in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. The cost of the Seder (which includes a catered Kosher dinner) is $14 for students and $25 for non-students.

What makes this Passover different from past Passovers with Penn State Hillel?  This year we will offer 5 unique Seders on the same night, each with a different theme or style.  Please choose the Seder that best suits your interest!

·         Traditional Conservative Seder: this Seder will follow a traditional Haggadah. There will be an opportunity for post-meal Seder continuation.

·         Passover on One Foot: this Seder will cover all of the basics of a Passover Seder.  Join us for a quicker, more laid-back experience with a few twists.

·         Women's Seder: this Seder is open to both men and women and will be a more liberal and student-oriented Seder focusing on the role of women in Judaism and celebrating women of the past, present, and future.

·         LGBT Seder: this will be a basic Seder enriched with various aspects of the LGBT community, from its history to personal stories. This Seder is co-sponsored by the LGBTA Student Resource Center and is open to all students and allies.

·         Freedom Seder: this Seder is co-sponsored by Ask Big Questions, The Penn State Student Black Caucus, and The Penn State Lion Scouts and will be purely discussion-based.  The Seder will bring together diverse groups of students to discuss life’s big questions, questions that matter to all of us, and bring understanding and change to our community.

All Seders will begin at 7pm.  Please arrive by 6:30pm on March 25th with an ID so we may check you in.
